Hi all! Welcome back to another Krypted Monthly Update! Today we’ll be chatting about some statistics from our EVE corporation, as well as the death of our Albion Online branch. We’ll also be talking about some of the budding mini-groups that are rising up in our community.
EVE Online
Let’s start with EVE Online! We had an awesome month this November, and have been having some serious fun in our new home system. For those of you that are not in Krypted Gaming, we are the proud owners of a system in Fade, and have been developing the constellation for our alliance!
Combat
In November, we killed 1319 ships and 327.89 billion ISK. Now that we’re no longer poking the Russians, we’ve been relaxing quite a bit and taking out roams to other Fade systems, and wherever else we find. From our most recent survey, 88.3% of our members were satisfied with the number of PvP fleets that are being taken out. There’s still some room for improvement there, so hopefully, we’ll be working on getting more commanders involved, and more content flowing. Our fleet rating (enjoyment of fleets) was 4.5, and FC rating (enjoyment of FCs) was 4.17.
Community
We’ve been going through a lot of changes over the past few months, with nearly 50 players coming and going this Fall alone. So, it’s nice to hear what our members think of us, and where our key values lie.
The following represent the % of our members that believe that this keyword represents us,
– 82.6% combat-focused
– 78.3% active
– 73.9% community
– 52.5% new player friendly
We’re pretty happy to see that most of us believe that we’re combat focused and active, but there is some room for improvement there. Being new-player friendly is going to be something important over the next year of EVE Online, due to the alpha skillset changes coming along.
Albion Online
Today we mourn the death of our Albion Online branch, as it has managed to collapse in this past month. There are many factors that come into play here, but overall the Albion community is on the decline, and there are significantly fewer players that are joining up and playing the game. Our number of players recruited managed to stay at zero for nearly a month, which is very uncharacteristic for a thriving game.
Our players that were involved were quickly getting tired of stale content, and our leadership for that branch needed to step away due to IRL issues.
Overall, we decided that it would be more beneficial to focus our resources on our EVE Corporation, and close our Albion branch. Many great memories were forged, but all good things must come to an end. Maybe we’ll check back on the game once it gets off the ground!
New Mini-Groups
With our thriving EVE Online branch, many small gaming clubs have been forming. These clubs include Starcraft, Overwatch, and Factorio! We’ve managed to pretty consistently have 10-15 people on voice, playing something. This is a very exciting time for Krypted Gaming, and we’re really looking forward to our future in gaming.
To get involved, type the following in Discord:
?rank sc2 (for starcraft)
? rank factorio (for factorio)
