Fleet Commander Log #3

Welcome to another fleet commander log!

In this series, we chat about the previous month in Krypted Gaming (for fleet commanders), and what we’re looking forward to on the horizon. The general structure,

  1. Summary of the previous month (AARs, fights, etc)
  2. Summary of the doctrines
  3. Short chat about the regions we ventured to
  4. Plans for the next month

We hope this will give insight to prospective fleet commanders for Krypted Gaming, as well as the rest of EVE Online. We are definitely not the best PvP corporation, but we have our fun and typically come out ISK positive.

June

This month, our average weekend fleet size was around 15-20, while weekdays we can usually get around 5-10 players. Our USTZ is shaping out extremely nicely, with typically a larger gang size than our EU brethren. (Take that!)

This month, we had some great fights, and for the first time ever, some nice videos to watch.

Ships

We have been branching out a little bit, and running a lot more small gangs throughout the week. These fleets generally feature mixed hulls and fits, which adds a little bit of challenge to commanding. We enjoy this, and it allows us to grow as commanders, learning how to adapt to the tools we’re given.

However, we also tried out Moas this month. They were a lot of fun, and could be something we could heavily use in the future.

Next Month

In July, we will be heavily focusing on getting more involved on an alliance and coalition level, as we believe we’ve practiced enough to open up our roams to the masses.

As for corporation fleets, we’ll be taking out a lot more small gang focused doctrines, which will be flexible and allow people to fly things that they enjoy.

At the end of the day, it’s summer, and we need all the fun we can get!

CEO of Krypted Gaming and whelper of fleets, BearThatCares spends his time maintaining the EVE side of Krypted Gaming and tackling targets across New Eden.
